Senior Teams

We congratulate Tom Rouse and his “Fire” team in qualifying for Provincials twice in two seasons.  Tom and ladies, we wish you all the luck in Outdoor Provincials!

Blizzard Soccer Club would like to announce another Adult League INDOOR season is about to start. Blizzard has multiple teams in the adult leagues and we are looking for experienced (and not so experienced) players for our multiple Ladies teams and one Men’s team.  Outdoor is just about finished (we go until beginning of September) and the indoor season does not usually start until October.  Registration is done by the individual associations ( Calgary United Soccer Association “CUSA” and Calgary Women’s Soccer Associate “CWSA”) with instruction from your coach. 

Ladies teams will be Premier to Division 6.  Men’s team will be Division 5 – but don’t let any of this concern you.  There is good competition in all ladders, since in Adult’s the new teams start at the bottom and win their way to Premier.  Blizzard will start with practice in September to properly line up players with the appropriate placement on teams. 

Coaches, Blizzard is always looking for coaches in the Adult Teams as well.  If you are a “retiring” minor coach and would be interested in coaching either Ladies or Men’s, please let me know.    We require a Men’s Coach for indoor! 

Players, please contact me to let me know your interest level.  Competitive, fun, whatever you see yourself committing to, we can fit you on the right team.  We will be running practices until the season starts.  You do not have to sign until the season starts, and then we can add players during the regular season. 

For Minor players, ladies/mens:  any U18 player (16 years or older) can play up to any ladies/men’s team up to 6 times per year* (some exceptions).  Player must have their player card and a signed waiver from the coach for the adult team coach to hand in with game sheet.  Players may also “double” sign.  Minor team gets you first, then you can sign for an Adult team.  Players may be asked to assist with practice costs on the Adult team once you double sign.
