Blizzard Outdoor Program

• There will be two leagues Blizzard players can register for:

Premier League: This league is for division 1 and 2 players, competing for Tier I, Tier II and Tier III provincials. League play will start the week after the Victoria Day weekend in May and end one week prior to provincials.

Competitive League: This league is for players in division 3 and lower, competing for Tier IV Provincials and Intercities. League play will start on May 2 and end by the second weekend in July.

Program Features

Competitive League

• 1 or 2 team practices per week with the team coach
• 4 technical skills development sessions throughout the season with Academy staff
• Optional team fitness sessions will be offered at cost

 

Premier League

• 1 or 2 team practices per week with the team coach
• Mandatory participation in the Academy Program for U12, U14 and U16 players

 

Academy Program

• 12 technical skills sessions of 90 minute length provided by Academy staff
• Optional team fitness sessions will be offered at cost
• Additional technical sessions with Academy staff will be offered at cost

 

Women’s Program

• CWSA teams in Alberta Major League, CWSA Premier League and lower divisions
• Opportunities for U18 girls playing on CMSA teams to play up in CWSA games
