| Blizzard U16 Boys Win Gold in Langley B.C. |

Even though they had not played a game for some 6 weeks, the U-16 Div 1 Premiers proved to be too much for the competition during the Labour Day Tournament in Langley, B.C. over the last long weekend. Matched up against some fierce competition the boys played without a loss, beating the Peach Arch Rangers 3-1, West Vancouver Spuraways 3-1, tied the Surrey Hotspurs 1-1, and the final game against 100 Mile House winning 4-1. Three teams they faced were actually U-18's (87's) which made winning this tournament even sweeter. Some players were hurting going into the final games and only carrying 13 players, the Premiers showed tremendous heart and determination to enable them to emerge as victors. Congratulations to a well deserved Gold medal!!!
