On the weekend of the June 3 - 5 The Blizzard Barracudas played in in the Edmonton Spring Challenge Tourney. The Boys won the Gold medal. All weekend long the lads played excellent. The passing, play making and defence shone. For the entire tourney the Barracudas had only 1 goal against. Recent formation and positional changes have paid off well for the Cudas. Another high light of the tourney was that the Boys also won the U-14 Fair Play award. The Gold medal game was emotional. The boys dedicated the game to their team mate Greg Fraser who was badly hurt in our final round robin game. Greg was taken off the field in an Ambulance. Outside of Greg's injury the weekend was excellent. All the players, coaches and parents had a terrific time.
