The Blizzard Cyclones had a great weekend up in Edmonton at the West Zone Spring Challenge and came away with the gold medal. The girls did an outstanding job as they did not have many subs and a few were playing with injuries. They went undefeated, but needed overtime in the gold medal game to defeat the Edmonton Willowby 3 to 2. After getting Silver last year in the same tournament, they were determined to get the gold this time round. Well done!
