Spitfires BU14II take Slush Cup Gold

The Blizzard Spitfires U14Boys II played hard to win the Gold Medal at this year’s Slush Cup Tournament in Edmonton. Although up against stiff competition, the boys managed to enjoy several successful wins before meeting their final challenge. The last minutes of the game were stressful as the teams played to a 3-3 tie. It was then down to a shoot-out to decide the outcome of the medals. Our five shooters did not let the pressure get to them and handled themselves very well deciding the outcome of the final game of the tournament in their favour. Congratulations to an undefeated team during this tournament
