| GU18 Avalanche hits Kelowna and brings home Gold, |

U-18 Girls, Tier 2 Blizzard Avalanche struck Gold in Kelowna, Canada Day Tournament, July 1 -2. 
Back row left to right; Dave, Jennifer, Jaymi, Igor, Rosie, Emily, Bonnie, Sarah, Kayla, Alicia, Shane Front row; Coda, Christina, Simone, Holy, Tracy Missing; Sam Short summary of the games; The first game was saturday morning vs Lightning, winning 4-0, great effort from all of the players. The second game was saturday afternoon vs Blizzard Tornadoes, each team had numerous scoring chances, but after two full periods the final score was 1-1tie. The third game was sunday morning vs Sporting, winning 2-1, the players showed great desire to win. The final game for gold was sunday afternoon vs Blizzard Tornadoes (+36c) temperature, winning 2-0, Bonnie was able to score a goal in the first and the second period. Great effort from both teams. Many thanks to all of the players/parents that made this tournament, such a great success.
