| G U18 II Thunder Win Silver at Provincials |

Congratulations to Blizzard Thunder on winning the Silver Medal in the U18 Tier II 2007 Provincial Outdoor Championship. The final day of the competition was played in less than ideal conditions but as you can see not even the soggy weather could dampen spirits! The girls played two tough games on Saturday and in their second game of the day won a hard fought match over the Edmonton I team to earn a spot in the gold medal match. Medaling in Provincials capped a successful season for Thunder. Adding to their Provincial Silver the Thunder won a Silver Medal in CMSA league play, a gold medal in the Calgary Kick Grass season opener tournament and a first place finish in the Calgary Wildrose tournament held in July. Well done Thunder!
