The Blizzard Blades U14 Boys team won the Gold Medal in the Tier 2 White Division at the Red Deer Kickoff Tournament held from November 23 to 25 at the Collicutt Centre. Despite injuries and illness, the Blades won both their preliminary games against St Albert Impact and Chinook Ajax before defeating Edmonton Scottish United 3 to 1 with a full roster in an exciting final. The Blades were particularly strong defensively in the second half of the final to preserve their lead and take the top spot.
