Our mission is to provide all our members with a dynamic and enjoyable soccer experience that inspires the pursuit of excellence through the development of character and sportsmanship.
Basic weekly practices The Club supports the coaches by providing coaching materials such as technical drills, tactical plays, warm-up and cool-down practices, fitness, nutrition; and encourages participation in coaching courses. See Our Coaches for details.
Advanced training for players in Tiers 1,2 &3 Comprehensive player development program designed by professional trainers. The aim is to develop technical and tactical skills.
Development through play-up to the senior teams The Blizzard Club has teams in CWSA & CUSA playing in Premier through Div 6. The Club encourages play-ups as a development venue for youth players. See Adult Soccer for details.
Development through participation in tournaments The Club actively encourages tournament participation. We are in the process of developing a comprehensive database of tournaments frequented by Club teams.
Development through participation in travel camps We have strong partnerships with professional soccer schools in the USA (Florida) and Germany (Cottbus, Dresden). Trips are organized by the Club on a team or group basis.
Coach Development
We consider coach development a fundamental component of player development. The Club provides internal training, mentoring and a coaching manual. We also fund participation in training courses at any level, for community coaching courses, at the NCCP level and at B-license level. See Our Coaches for details.
Youth Program Offerings We participate in CMSA’s Premier and Competitive leagues in the U12-U18 age groups
