TENILLE TOWNES: Originally from Grande Prairie, Tenille has recently signed a songwriting deal with Big Yellow Dog in Nashville. She is the youngest recipient of the CCMA Slaight Music Humanitarian Award, a past recipient of Alberta’s Female Artist of the Year, and at 16, created an annual event up in Grande Prairie that has now raised over $1.2 million for the local youth shelter, Sunrise House.
