CHARITIES: 100% of the funds raised will be directed to Discovery House and the Thrive Centre; two charities that provide hope here in Calgary.
TENILLE TOWNES: Originally from Grande Prairie, Tenille has recently signed a songwriting deal with Big Yellow Dog in Nashville. She is the youngest recipient of the CCMA Slaight Music Humanitarian Award, a past recipient of Alberta’s Female Artist of the Year, and at 16, created an annual event up in Grande Prairie that has now raised over $1.2 million for the local youth shelter, Sunrise House.
BAKE SALE: A youth run bake sale will happen during the intermission, and will be available to those that attend for a cash donation (at the discretion of the donor). These funds will be donated to the two charities on behalf of the young people that
attend the event.
