CALGARY BLIZZARD SOCCER CLUB TEAMS UP TO PROVIDE SEASONAL FULL SIZE INDOOR FACILITY IN NW CALGARY
One Field. All Seasons. The Shouldice Indoor Athletic Facility
November 13, 2019 (Calgary, AB) – Calgary Blizzard Soccer Club is thrilled to announce that we have partnered up with the City of Calgary, Greater Calgary Amateur Football Association, and Calgary Minor Soccer Association to provide a full sized winter home in the NW. The seasonal air-supported shelter will encompass one of the turf fields at Shouldice Athletic Park.
The inflatable shelter will be available during the months of October to May, thereby maximizing the use of this field year-round. It will provide top-class facilities to not only benefit the development of our players and growth of our programs, but will also extend beyond to community outreach programs and to the sporting community as a whole. This facility will help us continually strive to reach our club philosophy of creating a fun and appropriately challenging environment where players will have the opportunity to learn and fall in love with the game with the ultimate goal being, soccer for life.
For our club, it has always been about giving the best experience on and off the field for our boys and girls. The Calgary Blizzard Soccer Club is ecstatic to be a part of this project with our esteemed community partners. This is an amalgamation of an outstanding group coming together for the good of sport here in this city.

Shouldice Dome & Facility Rules
Calgary West Soccer Centre
During the indoor season, Blizzard conducts all technical training as well as some practices and friendlies at the Calgary West Soccer Centre. CWSC and Shouldice will be the largest non-boarded turf fields in Calgary.
