Congratulations to U18 Blizzard Juventus, who earned their spot as the top girls’ team in Alberta with a gritty victory in their final game at Provincials. After a 2-1 win and a 1-2 loss, Juventus needed to win by at least two goals to assure themselves of the gold medal.
The team delivered, winning 2-0 and booking a trip to St. John’s, Newfoundland for Nationals. As they have done all season, the Juventus players rise to a challenge and support each other in the drive to succeed. Well done!
