The Calgary Blizzard Reach Program is for all players U14 to U19 that have graduated from our Core Program and any other players that want to compete in the Calgary Minor Soccer League (CMSA).

CBSC is excited to announce our Canada Soccer Youth License was officially announced in June 2023 showing our commitment of high standards within youth Soccer. As a result of our License, CBSC is a participant in the APDL (Alberta Player Development League) since Fall 2023.

Overview:

  • Participation in Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) Indoor and Outdoor Soccer League for Tiers 1 – 6.
  • Participants receive a combination of CMSA organized games, team practices and Blizzard technical and skills training.
  • The technical training program is developed and directed by our lead Technical Directors.
  • Technical training for lower tiers is optional and at an additional cost.
  • All indoor technical training programs are held at The Shouldice Dome.
  • All outdoor training is held at Heidelberg Park (formerly Inland Athletic Park) and/or North city playfields
  • Goalkeeper training with Summit Goalkeeping is included with all registrations for current and aspiring goalkeepers.

Tier I and Tier II Considerations

  • More Developed Players
    • For players who are more developed and experienced in the game of soccer
  • Year-round soccer participation
    • For players who are more likely to play year-round and/or have soccer as their primary activity

Tier III and Tier IV Considerations

  • More entry-level players
    • For recreational players and/or players who are entering the sport for the first time
  • Seasonal or multi- sport athletes
    • For multi-sport athletes interested in seasonal participation or a variety of activities
