Three Blizzard teams, the SC02 and SC04 Boys and SC03 Girls had a trip of a lifetime over Spring Break!
The teams travelled to the UK to test their soccer skill and character against academy and local club teams. After participating in six games over the ten days, they also had a taste of the English football culture attending five professional games, including two opportunities to be pitchside at Leicester City and Derby County.
The teams trip continued with tours of both King Power Stadium (the home of Leicester City) and Old Trafford (the home of Manchester United), and they also had a chance to watch the Leicester City first team train at their facility.
To round off the soccer, the teams immersed themselves in UK life with a team country walk, Nando’s Dinner, London tour, local pub Karaoke night and a day out at Alton Towers Theme Park. Our trip organizer Chris Hodges Soccer Tours did a phenomenal job, and we look forward to working with him to send more teams over in the future.
